LunarSky Productions, Inc. unveiled its new hosting services web site today, which is but one of two new sites that were scheduled for an overhaul. Its other site, aimed at young adults, focuses on the entertainment aspects of its recently acquired online entertainment software company, Nautilus Entertainment, LLC. All projects formerly being developed by Nautilus are still being developed, just under a new name. In addition, most Nautilus staff were transferred over to LunarSky as part of the acquisition. The new entertainment division web site should be making its debut in Spring 2005.
In addition to the new web sites, LunarSky Productions, Inc. has announced a new pricing scheme which affects both new, and existing clients in a very positive way. Not only are there new hosting packages and several other new services, LunarSky has slashed several of its prices in half and has increased data storage and data transfer by 300% - 500% due to the current market trend of falling prices on server hardware. |

We will be performing scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 between the hours of 11pm - Midnight Eastern. During this time, we will be upgrading our Apache web server to version 2.2.10 (from 1.3.4x). We will also be upgrading the operating system from CentOS 4.7 to CentOS 5.2.
This upgrade will allow us to provide you with a higher level of performance and security. During the upgrade, we will also be installing a new set of mod_security rules which will add to the overall protection of client web sites. Furthermore, we will be upgrading the firewall software which will help deflect distributed denial of service (DoS) attacks and ensure that client web sites are kept functioning at optimal levels. |

Emergency maintenance scheduled for the morning of Thursday, November 16, 2006 to tighten security on the mail server. The levels of spam greatly shot up over the past 48 hours. The mail servers are the focus of a dictionary hack spam attack. Estimated time of restoration is within 6-8 hours. Clients will be unable to send mail during this maintenance (but will be able to receive). Some clients may be unable to send mail for up to 6 hours after maintenance has been completed. |
